The Extra Flugzeugbau EA300L is a two-seat aerobatic monoplane capable of Unlimited category competition. It was designed by Walter Extra, the famous German aerobatic pilot and built by Extra Flugzeugbau in Germany.
It is very strong, built from carbon fibre, kevlar and steel tubular frames, very light, less than a ton including the crew and has a wonderful powerful 9 litre 6 cylinder injected aero engine - specially prepared for this aircraft.
Operated by the military in France, Jordan, Malaysia and Chile and by civilian display teams across the world, including in the UK by 2Excel, "the Blades" comprising former Red Arrow RAF pilots.
